Data Shares - Core LMI Canada - Removing POP in favor of UNEMP

With the release of the 2026.1 Canada Datarun, we plan to remove the column POP and replace it with the column UNEMP in the DAT_UNEMP_IND table.

The 2026.1 Canada Datarun is currently scheduled for release in April 2026. We will update this notice with a more precise release date as it becomes available.

Actions to Take

For any queries or downstream processes that reference the DAT_UNEMP_IND table within the Core LMI Canada data schema, update your logic to use the UNEMP column instead of POP.
