We've now resolved the incident. Thanks for your patience.
Our back-end database experienced a period of abnormal load causing many API requests to time out. The root cause of this issue has been resolved and our API has returned to normal operation.
We've fixed the core issue, and are waiting for things to recover.
We've confirmed there is a problem, we're working to resolve it.
