Thanks for your patience.
On Friday, April 11th, the Lightcast Occupation Taxonomy (LOT) version 7 became the default in Lightcast services.
The Occupation Benchmark API is a service that relies on other Lightcast APIs. When LOT v7 became the default in the job postings APIs, Occupation Benchmark started using LOT v7 in the underlying calls.
Occupation Benchmark gets additional information based on the LOT concepts from the Classification API. In that API, LOT v7 has a different schema which Occupation Benchmark was not ready to handle. Additional levers have been made available to use the older version of the Lightcast Occupation Taxonomy (?lot_version=6). For changes to the Lightcast Occupation Taxonomy, refer to the changelog: https://docs.lightcast.dev/updates/lot-taxonomy-changelog
We have addressed the necessary changes in the Occupation Benchmark API to handle both of the old and new LOT schemas and apologize for any inconvenience.
This has been resolved. Thanks for your patience.
