Lightcast Companies Update – Company Field Changes on Nov 20, 2026

On November 20, 2026, Lightcast will update the company and company_name fields across APIs and Data Shares to align with the new Lightcast Companies framework.

To ensure smoother transition, Below Temporary fields have been introduced:

• company_v2
• company_name_v2

These fields contain legacy data to prevent immediate breakage and allow clients time to transition.

Impacted Endpoints and Data Shares

• Job Postings API: US, Global, Canada, UK, and Company
• Profiles API: US, Global, and Canada
• Job Postings Data Shares: US, Global, Canada, UK, and Company Direct
• Profiles Data Shares: US, Global

Recommended Action
Review your API and Data Share integrations before November 20, 2026, to ensure they support the new taxonomy values in the company and company_name fields.
